QUEENSLAND

Note – You must be a Queensland resident to access these funding programs.

Certificate III Guarantee. (C3G)

C3G program is available to eligible persons who do not possess a qualification of Cert III or higher.  FIND OUT MORE

Higher Skills Level (HSL)

HSL is available to access funding if you do not possess a Certificate IV or higher; up to diploma/advanced diploma qualification.  FIND OUT MORE

C3G Boost Program (Boost)

Boost is also known as second chance funding. Individuals may apply online for funding on courses listed in the Priority Funding list. The customer must have a strong reason to access the funding; Career change due to physical limitations, lack of opportunity due to the industry they were in is etc.

This program allows those who possess a qualification to apply for funding even though they may hold a bachelor’s degree.

TAFE Queensland manage the funding on this program, but funding is available to other Registered Training Organisations who have been approved to access this funding. FIND OUT MORE

Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Funding

Customers must be currently employed within the construction industry; recently made redundant or being made redundant, with a supporting letter from their employer or previous employer.

This is a great option for those looking to upskill for the construction industry and includes manufacturing companies linked to the construction industry. For example, concrete pipe/ moulding manufacturers, steel manufacturers etc.  FIND OUT MORE

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Lower fees, local skills — Reduced course fees

A range of training options and courses are available and subsidised under Jobs and Skills WA. Priority training areas include apprenticeships, eligible traineeships, and priority industry qualifications.

Through the Lower fees, local skills program, you can now choose from a selection of over 180 qualifications and enjoy half-price course fees capped to an annual total of $400 for unemployed and concession students and youth (ages 15—24), and $1,200 for non-concession students.
